An Altadena-based nonprofit using creative arts and storytelling to bridge generations, expand opportunity, and bring powerful community work into public view.
Founded by photographer Alfred Haymond, YGiS creates programs that help youth, adults, and elders grow from first brushstroke to seasoned masterpiece through arts education, storytelling, exhibitions, and community engagement.
Our passion is keeping people of our community together by providing safe havens that they come to via events that are held in the same community that was lost
